Articles The first copy of Two Wheels Scooter hit the newsagents in 2005 in response to a resurgence in the Australian
scooter market, and was essentially an off-shoot of the more established motorcycle mag Two Wheels. It has become a major
part of the community (dropping the confusing "Two Wheels" part of its name), and relates a lot of useful information
and interesting opinion about the Australian scooter scene. The
trouble was, that unlike the motorcycling fraternity, most scooter riders were new to this whole thing, and we recognised
a need for articles aimed at first time riders, rather than experienced ones. So we wrote in with some ideas, and
over the last couple of years we've had a number commissioned and published. Clearly we are in the business ourselves,
so our articles couldn't be advertorials selling our brands and ourselves. But since that was never the intention, we've been
delighted that all of our articles have been published unedited. We like to think
that we are contributing to the Australian scooter scene as a whole and not just locally. Unfortunately they appear
here without the pictures and artwork, but we hope that you find the verbage useful, and hopefully also entertaining.

two articles were published a year apart, and deal with the process of how to pick your first scooter. They should definitely

As a consumer,
there is nothing that annoys me more than sharp practices by car dealers, or indeed many other retail outlets. At Ace, we
want to open a relationship with our customers based on mutual trust and respect - so this article was intended to highlight
some of the techniques that less reputable companies use to get your business. This article highlights a few, but we hope
gets across the message that picking the right dealer can be as important as picking the right scooter.

This next
article was a lot of fun to write, and I don't think that it's too hard to recognise the groups in question! But the point
is - scooters are for everyone!

Published
in March 2008 to commemorate the final production of the Vespa PX - the last of the geared, 2-stroke scooters - this article
was intended to give a little bit of insight into a significant chapter of scooter history which has come to a close. In
some respects it's a very major milestone, but like all milestones, you can get too serious about it. It's my favourite article
to date, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
